Privacy & Terms

Jeez ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by Atlas Lejon AB (org. nr. 559446-0015), a company registered in Sweden. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about how we handle your information.

1. What we collect

When you use Jeez, we may collect the following:

• Account information — your name or display name, and email address used to create your account.
• Agreement data — the titles, descriptions, due dates, responsible parties, and completion status of agreements you create inside your Spaces.
• Space membership — who belongs to each Space you are part of, so we can share agreements with the right people.
• Device information — basic technical data such as device type, OS version, and app version, used to diagnose issues and improve stability.
• Usage data — anonymous, aggregated data about how features are used (e.g. how often the calendar view is opened). This never identifies you individually.

2. What we do NOT collect

• We do not read or store the content of your chat conversations in any other app.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising profiling.
• We do not collect financial information — payments are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).

3. How we use your data

We use the information collected solely to:

• Provide and operate the Jeez service, including syncing agreements across your Space members' devices.
• Send you notifications and reminders you have enabled in the app.
• Respond to support requests you send us.
• Improve the reliability and performance of the app through aggregated, anonymous analytics.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely in cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information. Access to user data is strictly limited within our team on a need-to-know basis.

5. Data sharing

We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Within your Space — agreement data is shared with other members of a Space you belong to. This is the core function of the app.
• Service providers — we use trusted third-party infrastructure providers (e.g. cloud hosting, push notification services) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
• Legal obligations — if required by law or valid legal process, we may disclose data to authorities.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are based in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right to access the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — you can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.
• Right to data portability — request an export of your data in a common format.
• Right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (in Sweden: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

8. Children's privacy

Jeez is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. Continued use of Jeez after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Jeez mobile application and related services ("Service"), operated by Atlas Lejon AB (org. nr. 559446-0015), Sweden. By downloading or using Jeez, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Jeez is a shared agreement app that helps people track commitments, responsibilities, and agreements with others in a shared Space. The Service allows you to create, manage, and view agreements with people you invite.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Jeez. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian. By using Jeez, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Account and Spaces

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• A "Space" is a shared context between two or more users. Each Space costs $3 USD (or local equivalent) as a one-time, lifetime payment per Space.
• You may create multiple Spaces. Each Space requires a separate one-time payment.
• Spaces do not expire as long as the Service is operational.

4. Payment

The $3 per Space fee is a one-time payment processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payments are handled by Apple or Google respectively — we do not process or store payment information directly. The fee is non-refundable except as required by applicable law or platform policies (Apple/Google refund policies apply).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Jeez to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload or share content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or exploit the Service or its underlying code.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the Service.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. User content

You retain ownership of any content (agreement titles, descriptions, etc.) you create in Jeez. By using the Service, you grant Atlas Lejon AB a limited, non-exclusive license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your Space members. We will never use your agreement content for advertising or share it outside your Space.

7. Availability and changes

We strive to keep Jeez available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before discontinuing the Service entirely.

8. Intellectual property

Jeez, its logo, design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Atlas Lejon AB. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Jeez is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atlas Lejon AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including any loss of data or missed agreements. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your Space(s) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Your continued use of Jeez after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
